I'm not saying he should be let off for what he did or anything, but not a lot of people are 'just like that' - it's often because the same sort of thing was done to them.

You should read a bit about Ray Avery (Rebel With a Cause) as when he was fourteen he was living under a bridge in London and yet managed to become New Zealander of the year.
I think he was just like that but unlike most people had no self control.

1311144 2012-11-10 01:14:00 Lets see. On Home Detention I'd be paid to sit at home and do sod all.
Life would be free of stressors and challenges (there's no Missus at my place to bugger things up!!)
And I could play computer games, eat junk and drink all day.

Until some law abiding citizen comes along and throws you a couple of 750ml bottles of Speights straight through the front window ... with wicks lit.

Someone send me his address ... I'd gladly do a bit of hard time for making this piece of crap into a crispy critter :angry

Not true, unfortunately the Judge lives in your world and mine and that leaves us with the problem.

If the Judge doesn’t want to hurt the sods feelings and send him to jail, then he/she should take him in as a boarder and look after him. By the time the good Judge has two or three they may realise what a total waste of time trying to rehabilitate this rubbish is.

He’s still Cray-bait as far as I’m concerned.

I meant in mind.

In my my mind this lad would be sucking water in a Cray pot at the the moment, in the judges mind, he would be having a a holiday at our expense for 3 months.
