1310900 2012-11-07 05:35:00 The two large ones are S-Video ports I think.
The two yellow ones a also video connector ports, don't know the name but IIRC they are mainly used in older VCR's etc.

Edit - nope, the aren't.

1310901 2012-11-07 05:50:00 It definitely looks like MIDI (or DIN of some variety) en.wikipedia.org pcuser42 (130)
1310902 2012-11-07 06:07:00 It'll be for a sound card.

The two round connectors will likely be MIDI input/output.

1310903 2012-11-07 06:35:00 Thanks everyone. I've at least established it never was mine. My lady friend's son is a bit of a sound and video guru, and she must have come across it thinking it was mine, hence she put it into my room.

Thanks again.

1310905 2012-11-08 21:53:00 Got any other weird cables? That was fun! :DUsed to, but gave a whole boxful to my brother which he somehow disposed of. Greg (193)
1310906 2012-11-08 22:08:00 Yellow RCA connecters as in the 2nd picture are usually composite Video but the DIN plugs can be used by almost anything so guessing those is difficult. I would have said a video capture device or similar. dugimodo (138)
