1310693 2012-11-06 09:10:00 We used Park n Fly for a trip to Melbourne and their outwards service was fine, but we had a hell of a job getting them to pick us up when we came back. The cellphone texting system they told us to use didn't work, and I finally got them on their normal number, then they didn't come to pick us up. After another more stroppy phone call a van did come, but he swore he'd been through as requested and there was nobody waiting. It was 1:30am on a freezing night and I left Mrs T inside in the warm, but I was standing on the kerb waiting for more than 30 minutes and none of their vans went past. The guy swore he'd been through and didn't see us, but clearly he didn't. Significantly, when he did turn up he had passengers to drop off. After that and their Fair Go excuses I wouldn't use them again. Park n Ride will get my vote next time.

Cheers

A blonde walks into a bank in New York City and asks for the loan officer. She says she's going to Europe on business for two weeks and needs to borrow $5,000. The bank officer says the bank will need some kind of security for the loan, so the blonde hands over the keys to a new Rolls Royce. The car is parked on the street in front of the bank. She has the title and everything checks out. The bank agrees to accept the car as collateral for the loan.

The bank's president and its officers all enjoy a good laugh at the blonde for using a $250,000 rolls as collateral against a $5,000 loan. An employee of the bank then proceeds to drive the Rolls into the bank's underground garage and parks it there. Two weeks later, the blonde returns, repays the $5,000 and the interest, which comes to $15.41. The loan officer says, "Miss, we are very happy to have had your business, and this transaction has worked out very nicely, but we are a little puzzled. While you were away, we checked you out and found that you are a multimillionaire. What puzzles us is, why would you bother to borrow $5,000?" The blonde replies....."Where else in New York City can I park my car for two weeks for only $15.41 and expect it to be there when I return?"

1310696 2012-11-06 21:05:00 I use the airport (Auckland) long term carpark.
It is only two mins.walk to the terminal. I like to know
my car is available when I want it and do not have
to rely on anyone else.

1310697 2012-11-07 01:18:00 A ex-work colleague uses a hotel in AK, not sure which one but I remember him telling me he could go up the night before, spend the night in the hotel, leave his car with them for 2 weeks and use the shuttle service, and it still worked out no more expensive than leaving the car in long term parking. Personally I'd just pay a mate to drop me off and pick me up in my own car but I have friends available who'd be happy to do that. dugimodo (138)
