1311725 2012-12-29 19:45:00 Nice! :) Enjoying it?

They're great little units, I've got the 32GB model too. Had the 8GB, wasn't *quite* enough storage once I had large games and two movies on there.

Have you plugged yours into your PC to have a go at copying movies or something across to / from it?
You also want to go here: play.google.com
Sign in, use it to install the app to your PC (You can hit the "Install" button and if your N7 is on the WiFi it'll automatically download it over the WiFi and install it, no input from you needed on the tablet :D

From there, MX Player will play pretty much any video file you throw at it. I liked it so much I spent a couple of bucks and got the paid version to support the developers :)

Got it.

downloading your suggested app.

All a mystery to me at the mo, but look forward to seining what it can do.

Downloaded film, so will try that 1st.

For some reason, Google will not allow NZers to download the Nexus 7 Guidebook from Playstore. If you go to forum.xda-developers.com and click on the link in the second post, the Guidebook will download to your PC as a .pdf (which you can then transfer to a reader programme on your Nexus 7 if you like). Or you can go to that url from your Nexus browser and the article will download direct to your Nexus.

There is a really good article on Drippler News that guides you through setting up your Nexus 7 in a fairly user-friendly fashion. Go to Google Playstore, search for Drippler Nexus 7, and install on your Nexus. Then look for an article called 'How to set up your Nexus 7'. On mine it is on the default tab 'Latest' - just scroll down to 12.24.2012 (American you know - can't get anything right). You will also find a few articles on Drippler that list the most useful/important apps for the Nexus 7 (or maybe they are the apps for which Drippler has been offered a commission, who knows...).

PM me if you want a list of the apps I have found useful - it may get you started if you are still in the early days of setting up.
