Google limit you to ordering 2 of each type, per-day, so at most they can sell 4 a day if they import them steadily. Funnily enough though the Play Store orders have just begun shipping, I have notification my first batch have left, but the ones I ordered later that afternoon about 3 hours later, still no word. I picked up my N4 on the Warehouse / 2Degrees "Red Hot Online" special thingy for NZD$700. Cost me a bit more, and I've got one coming into the country for myself anyway, but I figured "Why not?". Should be able to on-sell the one coming in for at least the same price as I purchased this for leaving me no worse off :) *Fantastic* phone, couldn't be happier with it!! Battery life, while isn't amazing, still leaves my One X and my old Galaxy Nexus for dust. Daily recharge still, but I get to the end of the day after moderate to heavy use and have over 50% left (Usually around 65%), whereas previously it'd be between 10 -> 20% on older phones. Did I ever post my initial thoughts of it here? 16GB for $357? I think they're USD$199, so even if with exchange rates, GST, shipping, customs tax, they're possibly still making close to $80 off the device :p Haven't seen the N10 for sale here, but had a good play with my brothers (The N7s and N10s arrived over a week ago), and daaaaaaamn they're NICE! |
