| 1310499 | 2012-11-05 01:09:00 | How many of you have a blog from which you make money with Ads ? I know this was a great get rich idea years ago overseas. I was wondering if many people in NZ have blogs which run ads and make money or cover their costs etc |

| 1310500 | 2012-11-05 01:47:00 | I make a couple of bucks a month from Ads on my personal blog. A friend has a few websites he's setup that are "How To" sites. I've seen his Google AdSense details, he makes a couple of hundred US a month from each, they require zero input from him. It's doable for sure! |

| 1310506 | 2012-11-06 01:09:00 | I was averaging around 350 a month from my network of 8 active blogs for 3 years, till June this year after massive Google algo (searchenginewatch.com) updates. Mainly income from Adsense and Fishpond NZ, and a little from Amazon, Google Affiliate Network, and Click Bank. But down to about a third of that. Many marketers and online companies got burnt after major updates this year. I was a bit agressive in legit SEO techniques, and I don't really have a brand and limited social profile signals, which search engines are now favouring a bit, along with stronger empahsis on content optimization, (www.jeffbullas.com) trust, authority, etc. Reworking my 6 other blogs and 2 sites with better content for searchers/users more so than for pleasing the search engines - as Google warned me personally to do so..."feature rich" sites/blogs for users they told me... |

| 1310508 | 2012-11-06 06:04:00 | Yeah I learnt for months about online marketing, SEO, Content writing, etc. Found best to follow blogs/sites from those that have made significant and legitimate online earnings. Gave up hours of Gaming, since got nothing out of it. But need to keep up with search engine algo changes (www.seomoz.org) (timeline) and to find and satisfy your targeted audience. What works today may be shot down months later. Recent being exact match (www.searchenginejournal.com) domains being de-ranked for many online entities. Reduced good earnings for 1 of my blogs overnight. Fixed that typo...Thanks... |
