| 141342 | 2003-05-04 22:51:00 | Can't say I'm too impressed with this (xtramsn.co.nz) article... I've always been of the opinion that they should have embraced mp3 as a valid medium. Anyway, it does worry me when I read of reports of trojans, malicious programs, etc. For the life of me though, I cannot see how they could do it, as there are other means of downloading mp3s without using 'file-sharing' networks. It's almost like they are wasting money on trying to stop file-sharing, without addressing the main issue of why people are pirating music. Lo. |

| 141344 | 2003-05-05 02:03:00 | I like the idea, that if my Music is on an MP3 CD, or over a LAN with Read-Only Access etc. then they'd have to actually come round to my house and torch it down before they got rid of MP3's! | Chilling_Silently (228) | ||
| 141345 | 2003-05-05 05:09:00 | But they have a business-friendly gobblement in the US. George will send "precision weapons" to take out the whole neighborhood. | Graham L (2) | ||

Just as the person downloading the music is invading on the companies right to royalties. I know that as soon as they tried this (in the USA) that the companies would be sued for millions. Because virus/hacnking etc is illegal as well!! |
