| 141680 | 2003-05-12 10:26:00 | from what i have done..its handy but it only looks for duplicates in its own folder..not the entire computer hdd... so i going to rename allllllll my photos..or any that mite have the same name...and put it all in 1 folder and try :-) will put my final opinion here late 2nite or 2morrow morning sometime |

| 141681 | 2003-05-12 11:35:00 | well my verdict is.... it doesnt work.... i purposely made 2 files with identical file names..it picks up.. i then change it to 2 different file names..with same picture..doesnt pick up... unless i doing somehting wrong... |

| 141682 | 2003-05-12 21:25:00 | I just renamed a pic & put it back in the folder with original & jpegger found the 2 differently named pics ok. Only problem I can see is you don't seem to be able to compare the pics in different folders or maybe you can & I haven't looked into it far enough. I guess that once you have done all the folders seperatly you could always copy the pics out of each folder into one folder & see if it finds any the same & you could take a note of any that appear to be identical. cheers Steve |
