| 142155 | 2003-05-07 10:30:00 | I work in my parents biz doing computer doing computer stuff as they don't have a clue, however I keep getting an error to do with the internet. The 2 computers that are doing it run XP and I don't think they have SP1. One is a laptop the other is a desktop. All the computers are networked into a hub, then through a router/switch into XTRA's Secure Business Internet environment. Every now and then either the connection or the computers throw a hissy fit and ask for an internet connection, however they are always on. The connect to the internet box pops up and when you close it and try to reload it again pops up. If you try another site, it generally works. If you exit the window and try the site again a while later, more often than not it works. Has anyone had this problem? and if so know how to fix it? Thanks |
