141807	2003-05-06 20:58:00	Yeah the costs sure aren't nice for the small business. Fair comment (I've took a stand at the Auckland Home Show last year - costs were unbelieveable!). But one thing was for sure - there was a *queue* of people at both the small reseller's stands...not just looking, but buying.	falvrez (390)

Needs more free stuff to take home for the kids. The game setup with multi-player stuff was chaotic, shame I couldn't play 1942, the queue was too long.... robo.	robo (205)

Well, you should have come play on the X-Box, or maybe the temp LAN me and Liam setup playing RalliSport Challenge.. Now that was cool! But yes, we're hoping for a bigger LAN next year.. even just at the AK ICE :-) Still, this year was pretty darn awesome! BTW - The LUG got sponsored to go... so that was nice to see them in the same stand as the OSS :-)	Chilling_Silently (228)

You were there?!?! Why didn't you say hi, you should have come over to the M$ game studios stand, we didn't have huge queues, and the multiplayer we had running went smoothly. 141814	2003-05-07 17:46:00	One thing that was at the show was a telephone system that works via the mains power wiring in your house. Some years ago you could get a intercom were the intercom wires used the mains wire, No doubt you can still get these. Well now you can plug in one telephone unit (main unit) to the power and plug the telephone lead into the phone line. Then with the "slave unit" plug that into any mains outlet and you can dial out to the outside world. The unit will not work passing telephone signal via the mains power meter on the meter board, so while you can use the slave anywhere in the same house, you can not take the slave unit to your neighbors and use you home connection to dial the outside world.
