| 142541 | 2003-05-08 23:00:00 | Greets I have windows 98se on a network computer. Whenever i doubleclick on any desktop icon or anything in the start menu (file or executable) it will come up with the "open with" box asking me what i want to open the file "shdocvw.dll with. I searched for that file to see what it was, and i found that it is located in the C:\Windows\system32 folder. So it seems it is as if every file and shortcut and executable file on the hard drive is acting as if it is the file shdocvw.dll, and it wants to know what to open that file with... Confusing it is, early thanks for any help!! javoyle |
