| 142390 | 2003-05-08 07:20:00 | Just would like to know the site to get DC++ (that new zealand p2p service) so I dont have to pay for download mp3's ^_^ and also, how to I connect to that ftp thing that xtra/telecom offer (we are with Xtra) that lets you download at 400kbs (or around there). can some one give me the url. | 142395 | 2003-05-08 11:34:00 | hi james, normally to get on jetstart you have your normal login.. lets say for example that it is jamesstewart@dsl.isp.co.nz when you login to that you get your 128k service, ok? what you have to do to get full speed downloads from ftp.jetstreamgames is to logout of your 128k account and login using your ISP username, but instead of your @dsl.isp.co.nz (or whatever it may be), you add @jetstreamgames.co.nz on the end.. so it becomes: jamesstewart@jetstreamgames.co.nz SO, for normal browsing and downloading, you use your normal login: jamesstewart@dsl.isp.co.nz and for high speed downloads of data from ftp.jetstreamgames you use jamessteward@jetstreamgames.co.nz |

| 142397 | 2003-05-09 02:37:00 | James to add to Whetu. it's YourUsername@jetstreamgames.co.nz (just change whatever your ISP is to jetstreamgames.co.nz I usually change the password to "none". You can only work off the jetstreamgames DNS though so you'll need to change that. Just ping jetstreamgames.co.nz and that's the IP for the DNS. You can't browse outside sites that JS DNS doesn't allow, you can't use another ISP's DNS either. A good place for getting game updates is ww.jetstreamgames.co.nz/files and using js login you'll have fullrate js downloads of those files. to test speed is www.jetstreamgames.co.nz/speed and do the 500kb file test. You can only visit sites that www.jetstreamgames.co.nz allow and connect to games that js allow too. visit their page for more information on where you can go. Everyone with js can use jsgames. If you want them to add a NZ games place to jsgames then bug their forum but you'll be lucky if they do so. Using jsgames login is free traffic. |

Wouldnt have a clue how to change the password, but i would definately like to, so i can use jetstream games. Help appreciated. |
