Oops, that 200MB was a typo - should have been 20MB . :p :D hehe So, tweak'e, I guess one could afford to have a larger cache setting if you were on a fast broadband or cable connection? Speed things up even more? in theory that would be right. however the broadband works against them as they can download the pages faster than the pc can search the cache for it. ideally for a broadband user you need large amounts of ram and use a browser like opera which has a ram cache and set the ram cache quite high. |
