2003-05-10 02:31:00 | I do that too. ZA works fine for me, hiding in the background & no hassles. Cheers Billy 8-{)

2003-05-10 02:52:00 | I have used several firewalls in the past. Found them a pain in the butt trying to work out what was OK and what wasn't. Spent most the time pulling my hair out in frustration, that now I just surf unprotected.

2003-05-10 03:15:00 | I prefer every other firewall I've tried above ZA. Agnitum Outpost and Sygate are nice. Or for the geek in you robo you'd be loving kerio with all the tweaking you can do with it. Or if you've got an old rig lying about not doing a lot you could put smoothwall on it which I'm seeing pimped a heck of a lot recently.

2003-05-10 06:14:00 | Hi Tried ZA and found it a bit simplistic in places and confusing (or poss just optionless) in others. Blocked my router as well for some reason even after having placed it in the trusted zone. Used to use and swear by Outpost (great plug ins) until w2k pro got its 2nd service pack, no net no lan, lots of frustration untill I discovered there is a bug in Outpost re SP2 and am awaiting a fix. Using Kerio on Susan B's advice and much prefer it over ZA. Try Outpost or Kerio Robo, think you'll like them. Guess thats about 3 cents worth :) Cheers Murray P

2003-05-10 06:36:00 | I found ZA 2.6 to be much easier.. I guess I was in a hurry when I was setting up ZA 3 and needed the net right then and there and couldnt be bothered working it all out.. but for now, Im with Baldy - Surfing un-protected! | Chilling_Silently (228) | |
