| 142581 | 2003-05-09 01:28:00 | IF i lost the password for internet explorer content advisor.Each time i use the net i would need to type the password and the only way to disable is to type the original password in.If i forget the passsword internet explorer will not let me use the browser What do i do?I've lost the password? |

| 142583 | 2003-05-09 08:00:00 | I'll let you have it because any decent Admin would have disabled regedit. 1) Go RUN and type regedit 2) Expand HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, SOFTWARE, Microsoft, Windows, CurrentVersion, Policies. 3) Click on the folder called "Ratings" 4) find a Object called "Key" with a long string of values, Delete it. 5) Now the content advisor will ask you for a new password, put your new one in and stop content advisor or keep it on, whatever you wish. |
