| 142470 | 2003-05-08 12:06:00 | Here is the Tread: pressf1.pcworld.co.nz 5 < - - I can't uninstall the patch because it comes up with "Setup cannot copy the file ntkrnlpa.exe. Emsure that the location specified is correct, or change it and insert 'Windows NT Service Pack Uninstall Directory' in the drive you specify." I can see $NtUninstallQ811493$ in C:\Windows but I can't do anything. Any ideas (this patch is pissing me off :@) | JamesStewart (874) | ||

| 142472 | 2003-05-08 23:30:00 | It would appear you may be able to use the Spunist.exe mentioned in the following link to remove it, maybe? I have no idea how this tool works and cannot find instructions online so just start it up and see if you can understand what is required to use it. If you are really lucky some corporate admin may be able to explain the use of this Spunist.exe to remove unwanted MS updates. Or (and I doubt this) there is info in the help system of windows itself for this tool. www.windows-help.net |

May help you in using the Spunist.exe utility to remove this patch. Cheers, Babe. |
