143372 2003-05-12 02:57:00 Is there a simple way to transfer an audio track from my computer on to an audio tape. My cassette player will record.
I'm running Windows 98SE. Does it have the software to do this or does it need additional. If the later is there a free piece of software to do this.
Thanks

143373 2003-05-12 03:23:00 Can you play music on the computer? If so, you can connect from the "Line Out" or a headphone socket (on your sound card --- or monitor) to your recorder. If the recorder has only a "microphone" socket, rather than "Line In", you will need to turn down the volume control on the computer to avoid distortion. You will need to experiment. If it's a track from a CD, the headphone socket on the CD drive is probably the most convenient ... again keep the volume control down). Graham L (2)

Yes I can play music via headphones, speaker and from CD.
Didn't think it would be that easy some how.
Thanks for your help
