| 143113 | 2003-05-11 05:22:00 | One day I was using my computer, playing a game called Tibia when suddenly it froze, no error message or anything, it just froze - before this time there'd been no problems. Since this moment about a month ago I've had it happen countless times while not playing that game, in fact it happens whenever it wants including when the screen is just on the screensaver, but it still happens a majority of the time when play graphic intensive games - it freezes within about 2minutes of playing Tibia-. I really have no idea what's causing it I've tried uninstalling virtually all of my programs, and used system restore but it still comes back. About 20 minutes ago when I reset the computer it came up saying there was a CMOS error, it hasn't come up with that before and I don't know whether it happened because of the error or if it is the error. I just thought I'd try here before I send it into the shop. I'm using an AMD athlon XP 2000+, Win XP SP1, an ASUS motherboard, which I'm not sure and a geforce4 mx440. Any help will be greatly appreciated. |
