143737 2003-05-13 08:28:00 Ive been using rAdmin.com's Remote Administrator in Win2K, but now Im using RedHat a lot more, I want to be able to control the Gateway PC which is running rAdmin.

So - Basically Im asking for Cross-Platform (And Free is a must - Ive paid for rAdmin and cant afford another) Remote Administrator (I think they're called VNC viewers?)

Anybody got any suggestions for me?

Thanks

143738 2003-05-13 08:46:00 I have a VNC server running on a windows system running ICS. The speed isn't too bad.

VNC has been ported to a whole bunch of platforms (theres even a client for palm pilots). You can download it from www.uk.research.att.com .

Your distro probably has a copy on its CDs. Also kde 3.1 comes with a client called "Remote Desktop Connection" which is nicer than the standard one.

143739 2003-05-13 09:46:00 Thanks again, I'll be downloading that tonight.

Im only running it across a 100Mbps LAN so I should be peachy ;-)

Cheers
