| 143572 | 2003-05-13 00:22:00 | A little problem I have run into: I have a PC with a faulty HDD (has bad sectors or something as Windows XP won't load anymore and can't ghost data to another HDD). So I put a replacement HDD into the PC and reinstalled Windows XP and set it up as it was before. i.e. same user name etc Then I plugged in the faulty HDD and booted up and I can read the data except I can't get into my user folder under Documents & Settings. It says that it is not accessible - Access denied. I am logging in as an administrator so how do I get access to my old data??!! Cheers |
