| 143760 | 2003-05-13 09:30:00 | There is a registry key that I have used to direct Outlook express to a server in the past. [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Identities\{2C846E75-4F2E-42E2-949F-00FB0773DB3D}\Software\Microsoft\Outlook Express\5.0] Back up the key first in case something goes wrong. |

That has a value %UserProfile%\Documents\Email which is because I keep my email file with my documents to make it easier to backup. I guess that you are suggesting I change that value to point at the network resource like \\Dad\SuesDocs\Email or something like that on the 2 client machines? Nick |

| 143762 | 2003-05-13 11:57:00 | Hi lakeryan, If you have Outlook Express 5 then you can include Hotmail in it. I read somewhere that Microsoft had made it harder/impossible to do this with Outlook Express 6 when they brought out XP. If you have OE 5 & a Hotmail account that you want to include just go to tools, New account sign up & enter the relevant information then it will do it's synchronising thing then you will have all the Hotmail folders underneath the OE ones.
