| 143474 | 2003-05-13 11:46:00 | Chris, I have Windows ME, and when I want to reformatt, I turn the computer off, put in the boot floppy, turn the computer back on, and it automatically deletes the Hard drive, then reinstalls everything from the partion where the pre-installed software is. It does everything for you automatically. I would try and get another boot floppy (you can download one off the Packard Bell site) or ring the 0800 number and ask them to send you another. You don't need the discs (you only need them if your HDD needs replacing) as the OS is pre-installed on the hidden partion |

I don't think Packard Bell would be willing to give you a copy of Nortons - I would have thought that the orriginally installed version had only a limited warranty. |
