2003-05-14 10:24:00 | Java Coffee The Dutch planted the first Arabica trees in Java early in coffee's history . It's name has become synonymous with coffee in the U . S . , and is often the standard for which all other coffees are measured . Java's finest golden beans are roasted to yield a piquant aroma . Java displays an exquisite acid balance, a medium body with hints of chocolate-like undertones and a quicker finish than Sumatran . Or perhaps you were looking for something relating to computers?

2003-05-14 10:26:00 | i think i would be more relating to computers since i am no where near a fan of coffee...but i never knew there was a place called "java" mmmm | csinclair83 (200) | |
2003-05-14 10:28:00 | Java, has a nice ring to it doesn't it? Jaaa Vaaa... jaava, javee see that doesn't sound right. Java, beats me, maybe one of these days I'd stop pretending I know a lot about computers and actually find these things out rather than giving good guesses.

2003-05-14 11:27:00 | Java is a programming language. Think about it this way. You decide you want to have a bath.... You turn on the HOT tap to run water in.... At some stage the bath will hold enough HOT water for you to climb in and have a bath. If the water is TOO HOT then you will need to put some COLD WATER in the bath. Doing this will raise the level of the water in the bath maybe even to the point where the water overflows onto the floor but it is still too hot to get into assuming you had put hot water in reasonably close to the top. If that was done then you need to pull the plug so enough water drains out so you can put in enough COLD so you can get in but not too much so the temperature is uncomfortably cold. Now we do this as a matter of course as we learn to use our brain. We know not to fill the bath fully with HOT etc. To program a computerised bath we would need a temperature sensor in the bath and valves that would be computerised to input HOT and COLD UNTIL:- 1 The right temp. Remember.... I might use the same bath as you but I want MY temp to be 43 degrees C and you want yours to be 44.5 2. The right level. I might want to only cover my knees and my Wife wants to cover her neck. 3. No overflow. Hmmmmm..... Whatever happened to the overflow hole near the top of the bath? 4.Your average computer driven bath would have to moniter the water in the bath and KEEP it at the right temp. My Wife may only be ten minutes in there and I'm different in so far as I might want to eat a pineapple and read a book while being there so I could be an hour. Unfortunately computers know nothing at birth and unlike people they don't learn anything more simply by being older and getting life experiences like being kicked in the tail end and schooling etc. Computers need programs I'd like to see anyone's bath running program written in any computer language to cater for anyone's needs. It would be given that you will need any hardware like sensors, COM ports and valves.

2003-05-14 21:56:00 | Java is NOT to be confused with JavaScript. Both are different! Java is more of a complete programming language, whereas JavaScript is fr adding functionality to websites etc. Hope this helps Cheers Chill.
