What better place? Those things make a hellava mess down your face and arms when they are nice and juicy, not to mention leave permanent stains on your clothing .

Damn good idea, methinks . ;-) :D

144101 2003-05-15 04:15:00 If you want to learn java then grab a good book on it. I used "Problem Solving with Java", E. Koffman & U. Wolz. Which wasn't too bad.

To write programmes you need a text editor (eg notepad, preferably something better) and a compiler. You can get the compiler from sun with the Java Development Kit (JDK, aka SDK).

Java wouldn't be my first choice for a first language because it is a fairly complex & has some ugly parts. But it is popular & free (unlike visual basic).

144102 2003-05-15 06:11:00 Jave is used for the programming of this forum. It gives lovely error messages. :D
here's an example (thread.jsp?forum=1&thread=23221&q=PressF1 error#70276)

144103 2003-05-15 10:03:00 Why not? When eating in the bath the juice drips down then goes out the plughole when you empty the bath.

Also comes in handy as as astringent.

Besides.... I want certain parts of my anatomy to smell nice.

Make sense to me but then that's just me. :-)

144105 2003-05-15 10:11:00 Don't tell me you kept the error message forever!!!!

Error messages can be useful from time to time.

I have kept just over 5000 Email messages though. There's heaps in there when you want to refer to something.

I'm just about to get in the bath with some pineapple chunks.
Won't leak and the choc will wash off. I HOPE!

144106 2003-05-15 10:25:00 If you REALLY want to do the COFFEE bit try Jamaican Blue Mountain.

This doesn't have anything to do with Java but it's very good coffee.

I know this as I once worked for Belaroma in Australia and used to blend various coffee beans after doing the roasting of the beans.

We used Arabica from New Guinea. Colombian beans, Kenya etc.

Roasting temps were very important. Blends of beans were important too. Mocha/Kenya for example were blended 80%/20%

YMMV.
