| 144413 | 2003-05-15 07:02:00 | Is it possible to download a free version of Excel and if so which site is the most reliable? Thanks | summertime (2568) | ||
| 144414 | 2003-05-15 07:23:00 | There is no free version of Microsoft "Excel" There is Open Office and Star Office, which have free versions, and they have "semi eqiuvalent" Spreadsheet programs to Excel. Use Google to search for sites, but they are probably a large download. OK if you have broadband. They have also been released in the past on many computer magazine cover CDs. |

Note, this will only allow you to read spreadsheets and not change/make them. As godfather has mentioned, working (apparently compatible with Microsoft Excel) spreadsheet programs are available for free. |
