Hi,I noticed recently that during the start up and loading ofXP home edition,that my a drive A(floppy) gets accessed or buzzed(its a noisy one) for want of a better term at least 5 times till loading is completed.My memory recalls it used to do it only once and at the very begging of the boot process only.I can only think its something to do with an application or something .Any clues how to hunt out the culprit would be appreciated.Regards Dave. |

It wouldn't surprise me if it was an antivirus program that you are using. |

If you know how to go into your BIOS you might find that somehow something's been changed in there, to do with Floppy Seek - just disable it. |
