| 144745 | 2003-05-17 05:43:00 | You fellers sound either too old or too young I think. I must be somewhere in the middle (I've just hit the half century). I like most things musical, into loud if the mood takes me. I mainly listen to the ROCK or Solid Gold and Hauraki on the old radio (I guess there's a wide variety in those choices.) Enjoy all the shows by the likes of - Gilbert & Sullivan Rodgers and Hammerstein Rice and Loydd Webber Favourite artists: Beatles Who Led Zeppelin Eric Clapton Jimi Hendrix Fred Astaire Van Morrison Offspring Gorillaz Frank Sinatra Creed Tom Jones Macy Gray Rolling Stones Datsuns (Local Lads) Like I said - Variety Regards, andy |

| 144747 | 2003-05-17 07:13:00 | Some good chices there clueless... I too hate the word genre - it is just too damn hard to classify most of the tracks out there, seems these days there is a new genre for every cd that comes out. I am suprised no-one has mentioned any of the various electronic blends yet, so I will: I'm into: any drum and bass - particularly concord dawn, kosheen, dillinja and photek. Anything at all from timo maas, paul van dyk, and mauro picotto. Old metal like metallica is also good, and anything played on the rock gets my vote too. And if anyone here has even heard of Theivery Corp. I will be very suprised. The only good music to listen to on a real hot summer afternoon. My list, if anyone is that interested... scone.orcon.net.nz Craig. |
