144887 2003-05-16 22:30:00 Hi Thomas.
1. go to tools, options, connection tab. Under Internet Connection Settings, click change and make sure there is a dot in 'always dial my default connection.

2. go to tools, options, general tab. Under send/receive messages, make sure 'send and receive messages at startup' and 'check for new messages every' are ticked, and specify a time to check.

Hope this helps

144888 2003-05-17 05:43:00 Wotz, thanks for that, problem is, those things were ticked and dotted as per as they should be.
On top of that when I go in to dial up via start, previously the said box would pop up,now it seems to have gone to parts unknown!
