| 145337 | 2003-05-18 02:05:00 | Hi I'm relatively new to Delphi, so I don't all the tricks. Some tricks seem to be harder to come by than others despite spending numerous hours searching via google etc. I need a way to check the computer's current resolution from Delphi, 800x600 etc. I don't need to change, I just need to find out what it is. Couldn't find anything anywhere. Somebody please help! Many thanks Paul |

So, on activation, I made it a transparent window, un-hid it, set its border to none, maximised it, read the width and height, un-maximised it, and set all its settings back to normal. Works like a charm, and the user doesn't see anything! I'm sure this is a pretty neat work-around, but it would be nice to use some smaller, faster code... Paul |
