| 145092 | 2003-05-17 09:26:00 | Ok I have a Dynalink ALH181 Internal PCI ADSL Modem . I have jetstart 5000, which has been working happily till upgrading to an ASUS A7V8X-X Motherboard with a KT400 VIA Chipset on-board . Fresh install of WINXP Pro, VIA 4in1 installed to version 4 . 46 The modem is installed correctly with WINXP drivers, has detected a line signal only a few times (intermttantly) Has connected a few times also, but will drop the connection withing a few seconds of any net activity . Once the connection is dropped the modem won't do anything but training for a line signal, but can't find any . Now I saw this problem on another PC the other day & we fixed it by installing a Nokia NI200 modem . I am stuck with this one . Any ideas ????? |
