PC A Win2k PC B Win98 PC a has reconised pc b & vise versa but when I tried to searh pc b, the little torch icon would show for a while & the just leave me with an empty window with the name of the other pc in the top left. & the other way round, pc b searchng pc a it come up with a prompt asking for a password. So I type in the only password I ever use. & it then says wrong password. ??? I have now descoverd that the net don't work anymore Sh-t what have I done now. it dials connects but then can't desplay page & email comes up with an error too. this is pc a I'm babbling on about. I have not fiddled with my account settings or phone numbers. But maybe one of the dail up protocols. "Sigh" Coffee time. |
