145175 2003-05-19 00:02:00 Hi wyndra,
Something you need to check is that you modem supports
"Full Duplex"!
I don't use voice chat very often, but find that Yahoo is usually better than MSN!

Alternatively you might try PalTalk, who have on-line helpers
prepared to talk you through the settings etc.

Once you get everything sorted with them, you will find voice works with
them all and then un-install the ones you don't want?

Cheers,Kiwitas,;-)

145177 2003-05-19 23:56:00 Stu and others are quite right, Yahoo Messenger is excellent. Just had a first time test voice/video conference, worked first time, no fiddling, no abstruse settings, works through a Dynalink RTA220 router with NAT, no ports to open. Received files etc. Infinitely better than NM or MSN with my Win98SE +router set up.

Thanks all for the tip.
