| 145088 | 2003-05-18 03:09:00 | That's why they have the 'Remove Hardware' option.. Its normally hidden.. yet, Ive done it with a Removable CD-ROM drive on my Laptop. The little icon doesnt usually appear in the systray until Ive actually removed the CD-ROM (Unless I have a PCMCIA NIC in the laptop at the time). The point being.. You can use that to 'safely remove hardware' from the machine. Getting to that is another matter though...!?! |
