1338247 2013-04-24 02:19:00 We have one laptop here that is not getting good speeds through the wi-fi.

Another laptop and mobile devices are not having any trouble at all just this one laptop.
What info do you need from me to start running this down?

FYI
This is a little difficult for me to manage as I am not allowed to touch the laptop, so I will answer your questions and supply any requested info as soon as I am able to ask the owner.

1338248 2013-04-24 03:00:00 These ones are always fun to solve.

First thing, as long as they are 100% sure that it's just the one laptop having issues, and other laptops in the same location aren't, would be to check the manufactures website for a driver update.

What AV/firewall is the notebook running, is it Norton, McAfee, Trend Micro...? Also, if they could plug the notebook in and see if it works fine like that. That can narrow down whether it's a software issue of some sort, or just a wireless issue.

1338249 2013-04-24 03:25:00 The network is mine so I am very sure the other machines are working fine.

Lappy is running MSSE.
I can get it plugged in and tested tonight and have the drivers updated as well.

Turns out the laptop was connecting to the extender which just needed a reboot.

Thanks all.
