| 1337944 | 2013-04-22 03:43:00 | Hi y'all, I asked this question a while ago and Handbrake was suggested. It works well BUT if I have a .vob file that has two or three separate titles on it, it only converts the first and not the others. I have tried playing with the settings on Handbrake but either I'm thick (highly possible) or this is impossible. Can anyone recommend to me a SIMPLE TO USE, FREE, media converter that will allow me to select a VIDEO_TS file (in a converter) and then have that converter/program converts the entire folder to .avi AND SEPARATE the titles? Your help as always is appreciated. Cheers |

| 1337948 | 2013-04-22 04:44:00 | Came across video to video (http://www.videotovideo.org/) a short while back, seems to convert just about any known format to another - works very well for the ones I have done so far and its free. Edited: just saw you wanted separate files, cant remember if that allows you to select each one or not. Just looked and the tools options do allow you to split the videos / join videos at what ever segment/time you want. |

| 1337949 | 2013-04-22 04:56:00 | Yes, DVD Shrink identifies the individual movie files on a DVD, separating these from menus and extras (which there are HEAPS of). You then "Back-up" each movie file individually and use a converter like Handbrake to convert the new .vob file (individual movie) to .avi, MP4 etc.... It would be nice if there was a one-stop FREE converter out there that did all this for you... maybe one day??? Thanks for the help.... |

| 1337952 | 2013-04-22 05:03:00 | DVD fab does it but it's not free. Rather expensive actually. Think there's a trial version if it's a one time problem. | dugimodo (138) | ||
