| 1337834 | 2013-04-21 03:28:00 | Hi PressF1 people, I am in the market for a decent sized lap-top as I need to be able work excel spreadsheets (full page) whilist on the road. I have been doing some research but get confused over a number of things. Ideally I need to be able to access emails, write replies, deal with daily planning and as mentioned create and work excel spreadsheets. I might add I am not a gamer and I currently use a desk top at my home office. Specs are:- AMD Athlon 7550 Dual-core, 1.96RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 As mentioned in an earlier posting I wish to link both computers at all times. I believe a 17" screen is what I need to view a complete excel spreadsheet page. Any direction and advice would be grateful. Cheers* |

The better your eyesight, the less you require a physically larger screen. As long as it's 1080p, you'll be able to fit plenty of spreadsheet on the screen. | jareemon (5207) | ||
| 1337836 | 2013-04-22 22:52:00 | Just got the wife an ASUS X75A-DS31 from Ascent. It has a 17.3" screen & 4Gb RAM, 500Gb HDD - it's just what she needed for office work (shes not a gamer apart from the odd game of solitaire lol). Only $879 too. Runs Win 8 | fnphoto (2434) | ||
