| 1337700 | 2013-04-20 06:23:00 | I am looking at my upgrading compaq CQ57-307TU laptop. All the laptop is used for is internet and email. Would like to upgrade to Windows 8, more ram and a SSD. Any thoughts on what I should do? |

Look at your usage and see how much you are using. Celeron? Yeah I wouldn't bother spending too much money on that to be honest. Meh. If if he is happy with it why not? Cheaper than buying a new laptop. |

Have read somewhere that 8GB is the maximum that my laptop can take. Any particular brand of SSD to avoid? |
