1313212 2012-11-18 21:10:00 I used to own a one of these well actually had several and raced them quite successfully in England 4485 now they are a pretty boat and no that's not me I don't have any pics of me sailing on this computer. That boat is called Bottyburb the Barbarian gary67 (56)
1313213 2012-11-18 21:13:00 Looks top heavy and its height to length width ratio would make it a pig in heavy seas. But its made just to look different but there is a penalty. Just like when designers in Auckland designed houses without eves. prefect (6291)

It's stunning in heavy seas, powers upwind no problem, flies off the wind well. With its fully adjustable rig it can handle just about anything. I have sailed them in everything from a force2 up to and over a force7 gale, that was exciting sailing in a force7 with 5m waves trying to work out where to point the thing so as not to hit the other racers who mostly you couldn't see.

They were designed to be able to be carried by only the 2 crew so the boat is 91Kg all up and 14 ft long, and made to sail in Cornish surf

1313215 2012-11-18 21:17:00 Well from that angle it looks ulgy as hell!! I'm sure inside it will be quite nice, perhaps from other angles... but I'd prefer something more classy, then again if someone offered my the venus for $10 i'd take it ;devil The Error Guy (14052)
