| 1312077 | 2012-11-12 00:44:00 | I've got a few days off between uni and starting work so I decided I'd finally do this . I've got a Toshiba P750 laptop and I've done a bit of research on this . The process looks fairly simple, take out the HDD and chuck in the SSD . Boot up and install windows 7 onto the SSD . Then swap the optical drive for a 12 . 7mm caddy and put the old HDD in that . Seems easy enough and shouldn't take long at all! But I was looking for some advice on where/what SSD and caddy to buy, I'm currently looking for around a 120GB SSD drive but I'm not really sure on brands etc? I was looking at getting this ( . pbtech . co . nz/index . php?z=p&p=HDDOCZ3122&name=OCZ-Agility2-120G-Solid-State-Drive-" target="_blank">www . pbtech . co . nz(SSD)-2 . 5-High)from pbtech as it seemed quite cheap . Alongside the SSD, the only caddy I could find was this ( . trademe . co . nz/Browse/Listing . aspx?id=531823729" target="_blank">www . trademe . co . nz)for $30 and the Titans one for $59 at pbtech . Any recommendations or advice? Thanks |

I think I'll go for either Intel 330 120GB or Samsung 830 128GB. Both fit my price range and seem to rate highly from reviewers on different sites. What are the main differences between the two apart from read/write speed? |
