| 1313046 | 2012-11-19 03:44:00 | The Labour Party cannot even run a successful conference at present. I don't know why they would think they could run the country. It is a great pity as we need to have an effective opposition in our form of government. | CliveM (6007) | ||
| 1313047 | 2012-11-19 03:46:00 | Off the top of my head there is Taito Phillip Field, Honourable member for South Auckland who got 6 years for his trouble and Donna Awatere Huata who got 2 years 9 Months for her trouble. Then outside of parliament we had Sir Douglas Graham, and............... who was it that stole a dead persons identity?? Im sure if I took the time I could come up with others. Can I borrow your rose coloured glasses? What do they all have in common? |

Which is worse: Couldn't run a successful conference let alone the country or Couldn't organize a piss-up in a brewery let alone run the country? |

Absolutely, there is that much pocket piddling and deal brokering going on there can be no effective opposition. The asset sales showed that when even Dunne who supposedly opposed them, voted for them, to keep his portfolio. I thought he might have been quite straight up and down but nooooop, same as the rest. :( |

Neither side is correct, per se, and we all have a nest to feather, but, the constant oscillation of the rudder, steers us all nowhere. Bring in the benevolent dictator. :p |
