| 1312172 | 2012-11-13 07:33:00 | Although he was the "head" of Windows, he didn't design and push the MetroUI, that was done by a team lead by a woman (I forgot her name). If this was about Win8 I HIGHLY doubt that he would be fired/gotten rid of. Win8 was a natural progression, look at WP & xbox, everything is coming together. It would be silly to have a Phone, tablet, and PC ecosystem. Especially with x86 tablets on the market. This is Ballmer cleaning up the house, nothing else. If a success Ballmer lost a prominent rival, if a failure they have a scapegoat. I believe the chick behind metro is the one who got his job. |

Not really a fiasco...though not my idea, but it sounded good anyway so will use it. MS should have used the windows phone 8 software for the RT, that way there would be no confusion.
