| 145684 | 2003-05-19 06:55:00 | I've just installed a 2nd HD of 80 gb(slave),can i backup 15 gb onto the 80 using the backup option in win98?and will the applications work OK from there?I want to reformatt 15gb and install XP pro.Now is this sensible? Any problems u think?I don't know what to do to reformatt the 15 HD thats all! Thanks in advance. |

| 145685 | 2003-05-19 08:42:00 | Sounds like you want to move programs to your new drive but I fear that will not work as your registry will still be looking for them at the original location on the C: drive. If you want to clear some space, move data instead. I get the feeling you are not too experienced at what you want to do so back up everything important to external media before you start.
