B-) The wages of sin are not what they used to be Graham.]:) By the time you have coped with the cost of living and general taxation you only have enough left for a sort of tired feeling.:p Cheers Billy 8-{) :D [pre][b]PS Sorry Thomas, I must be losing it, I still can't grasp your meaning. | 145573 | 2003-05-20 04:06:00 | Righto Billy will try again, one hates to be cryptic. E.ric said >My posting was more to have a dig at my old trade than to learn about >a new job. I said I gathered that, right from the start, hence the levity. other seemed to take him literaly, hence a diatribe to no avail in view of the fact that he spoke in jest. ;);) |

| 145574 | 2003-05-20 23:49:00 | Gotcha Thomas, the fog has finally cleared! I didn't figure E.ric was overly serious myself either, as he seems well embedded in computers & electronic gizmos etc, but with all the walking he does I thought I'd fill him in a little on the life of a Postie just in case it actually appealed. At least it is one job where you don't have to get any closer to the customer than their front gate.;\ Cheers Billy 8-{) :D |
