146488 2003-05-22 05:58:00 is there a way to change the screen's resolution and the refresh rate just with one click
without going the desplay properties?

or any other simple way to to this would be nice

146489 2003-05-22 06:36:00 "Ctrl" + "Alt" + "+" (or "-") seems to work in most distributions.
This is particually handy when installing boot and run from CD distributions such as knoppix and the likes, when one sometimes discovers that the screen/video is not up to the handling the default settings.

146491 2003-05-22 12:23:00 I know you can do it, if you have an nVidia card and the icon is down in your system tray...

But that's not one button... more of a 'navigate through menu' scenario.
