| 146386 | 2003-05-21 23:27:00 | Ive just inherited an ACER AcerView 76i 17 monitor and whilst it produces a brilliant picture most of the time, it sometimes gets the wobbles on the horizontal width. I also notice that the horizontal width is at max (99) and there is still a 1cm boarder on both sides. The vertical adjustment is way down on 24 to keep the overall geometry. Now, I dont expect anybody to be able to fix the thing from afar, but I know there are some bright sparks out there that may have encountered the same problem on the same model on more than one occasion which would point to a common fault. My guess is something amiss in the horizontal deflection circuit, but without a circuit diagram it all gets a bit hit and miss. Im also sure I read on this forum some months ago that someone else was describing a similar problem with a similar monitor but I cant find it using the search facility. Anyway, any thoughts will be appreciated. Cheers Bob |
