146314 2003-05-21 09:34:00 When I try to print (using Epson 760) some web pages will only print a part of the page width (equivalent to an A4 width). This happens when the web page has to be accessed by the scroll bar due to the width of the web page being viewed. Even when I use the print 'selection' option I still can not print the correct text. I think there will be a tool to manage this but can't find it. Perhaps my settings need a reset? But if I copy/paste to Word, still can not get it. Would like some help please. Thankyou. 146315 2003-05-21 09:50:00 Most web pages are designed for viewing, not printing.

Some have a "printer friendly" version (shown by a link with "printer friendly" on it, which will then print in the normal manner.
Most don't

A work-around is th set your printer to landscape mode, (File-Print Setup....).

146316 2003-05-21 11:17:00 Thanks to "Godfather"
The printing I am having problems with is from respected sites-some software companies for example -where I have tried to print specifications and/or technical stuff. The pages offer "print" options as does File>Print etc.
Hope someone else can add some light and help.

Then others can try it and comment.

146318 2003-05-21 11:26:00 Do you have a reduce or enlarge setting you can change in the Epsom printer options.
If it is on !00% change it to something smaller and adjust until you get the size to fit the paper.

146319 2003-05-22 11:42:00 Try TRIPLE clicking on the text to hi-lite it then copy/paste it into Notepad or Wordpad and edit/print it from there. If triple clicking don't work try click and drag on the text. Garibaldi (3838)
