2003-05-21 10:42:00 | We are making Letter Address Headers in Word 2000. We wish to put a clipart photo top left of the page & our address top right of the page. But it won't work like this. The photo & the text will not share the top of the page. This is on W98se by the way. If we go the Textbox way, it will leave the box around the address & vice versa. There is a Textwrap" on XP, but cannot find it on 98. Any suggestions??? Poppa John

2003-05-21 11:12:00 | Hi Poppa John You can remove the black frame around the text box. Click on the frame to select it and then right click. Select Autoformat object (I *think* that is the right wording) and then select "no colour" for outline colour. Click apply.

2003-05-21 11:27:00 | While you are in Format Picture, set under the "layout" tab, "In front of Text" or "Behind Text" That will let you drag and drop the picture anywhere, and will allow the address to co-habit the same areas.

2003-05-21 11:55:00 | godfather: I am now on my W.98. When you say "while you are in Format Picture"...etc...do you mean the "Format" box at the top of the document? I just went in there, but don't have a "layout" tab. Maybe I'm in the wrong area. :8} :8}

2003-05-21 23:00:00 | Poppa John Design your letterhead as you would normally. Once you have it as you want it to appear every time you open the file, click on File, Save As. In the File Name box type a file name, eg Poppas Address. In the Save as type select Document Template (*.dot), and click on Save. Every time you want to use your address template click on File, New and you should see your new template. Open it and compose your letter, saving as normal. Oxie
