| 146721 | 2003-05-23 08:03:00 | Hi. Had mine for about a month 1/2 now. Very happy with it. Faster and far better output that I was used to, HP Deskjet 600c, would have to be better tho wouldn't it. Colour printing is good. I use it for producing reports with colour phots where detail in the phots is important. Havent used it in photo mode with special paper yet. Couple of things: When printing the mechanism that hold the paper up as its printed out and the print cartridges, sound like a train coupling in the shunting yard. A bit more capacity in the input tray would be helpfull. takes about 40 sheets of std paper. Cheers Murray P |

| 146722 | 2003-05-23 12:23:00 | Thanks for your comments, Murray. The HP brochure says that there is an "optional 6-ink colour printing with HP PhotoREt 4 colour layering", what is it and do we have to pay extra for that? Currently, QMB computer is having a special price of only $167 +GST for this model. Looks like a good deal; or they've missed out something? Cheers |

| 146723 | 2003-05-23 12:57:00 | Hi bk I have ink 2 tanks loaded . Black and the normal colour tank . What you can do is replace the black ink with another colour tank (diff combo of ink) . so basically the cost is in the extra ink tank, the printer is ready to go off the shelf . $188- smackers is a bloody good deal compared to what I paid :_| Oh well, you rarely win whenyou by computer bits and pieces . doesn't change my impression of the printer of course . Cheers Murray P |
