I'd get in trouble if i posted to much detail on such research. Just trust me.. Dyan is indeed female. I'm now quite sure of this.

146865 2003-05-26 07:58:00 It is amazing how this post has moved so far from the origional topic, it is also interesting how, in general, the same names crop up when a post becomes contentious (Hmm not sure of the spelling - but I don't trust spell check).

Clueless - the name fits - go outside and smell the flowers - or something.

Tobas,
You are wrong, the name does NOT fit anymore.
I am "Clueless" in so much as i am aware that the amount i don't know is more than any of us here could ever imagine.
That knowledge makes me more clueful than many of the people we share this planet with.

I'm an ecentric who starts my day with a glass of water to wash down the prozac. I then check my emails and do what ever i will do any given day. My reason for bothering to stay on this planet is not my dog son or lover, but my dedication to music and performance. Without that, i dought i would bother. Each day is a battle with depression, some days i win, some i don't, either way the battle does not go away.

I don't know why i am telling you this. You might get the idea that there is more to me than someone that should be written of in the spirit of casual abuse that seems to be getting too popular in this forum. No-one should be written off in this way.

The name "Clueless" was chosen when i decided to learn things Linux. I really did find my self in a position with a daunting amount to learn. Still the logical parts of my brain cry out for amusement, and the Linux learning like all computer stuff has forfilled that need. Each day i learn at least one small thing. I have learnt enough now that the name doesn't fit as well as it did in the content of a Linux person. I have a lot to learn, but at least i now have a grounding.

I have had my fun with the name, it's a great disclaimer, but it is time to retire "Clueless".

I come back as Chris Wilson, that being my name.
