| 146680 | 2003-05-23 01:49:00 | Suddenly I've started getting hundreds of messages, from hundreds of different postmasters and daemons saying "your e-mail couldn't be delivered" and the like. The emails returned are all spam-type stuff - money-making schemes mostly. None of the addresses that bounced are known to me and the emails aren't anything to do with me. I live at the end of a slow rural connection so they take forever to download, as well as forever to delete. Sometimes I delete my real email amid the mass of junk. I surf with Opera 6.01 and IE5 and use Pegasus for email. What's happened? How can I get rid of it? |

| 146682 | 2003-05-23 02:16:00 | It sounds like a spamer has got your e-mail address & is using fake herders to send out e-mail throw your account, or faking that it has been sent throw your account. Do you have an Antivirus progume???? Also have you change your e-mail account password??? Since this has started???? |

| 146683 | 2003-05-23 02:23:00 | You could download, install and use MailWasher free version (v2.0.40 is available supports a single account and any POP3 mail client, no hotmail support) or MailWasher PRO pay version. MailWasher free version 2.0.40 available from MailWasher_Free (www.mailwasher.net) or the PRO version available from MailWasher_PRO (http://www.firetrust.com/). Read the documentation to get a good idea of the functionality. Cheers, Babe. |
